This time, “We have come to banish the darkness” and created a great light, in a live virtual event for the Nefesh B’Nefesh organization. Together with thousands of newcomers who made Aliyah to Israel from North America, and many more who are preparing for their Aliyah journey, we have celebrated Hannukah’s fourth candle lighting.
And frankly, it was very exciting! Thousands of faces and Menorahs sparkled through the screens and were active throughout the broadcast. News presenter Lital Shemesh was the Master of Ceremony, Shalva band moved us with their performance, singer Rami Kleinstein touched our hearts with a song and a blessing, Master Mentalist Lior Suchard virtuously played with the audience senses, and the young vocalist Chaim Zippel, from the TV show “Music School”, blessed over the candles and sang “Million Dreams” with Shalva. And of course, there were blessings, from Israel and the world, by The President of Israel, Minister of Aliyah and Integration, JNF representatives and the wonderful “Nefesh B’nefesh” founders.
The thousands of positive, moving reactions and comments that “Nefesh B’nefesh” received throughout the event and in the following days, proved that we cracked the event correctly!
