In 2025, amidst a global wave of antisemitism, the Genesis Prize Foundation chose to award its prestigious prize to the President of Argentina, Javier Milei – one of the most prominent world leaders supporting the State of Israel.
The ceremony, originally planned to take place at the Knesset, was relocated within 48 hours to the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem – a complex logistical operation executed professionally and in full coordination with national and international officials.
The event was held in the presence of the President of Israel, Genesis Prize Foundation Chairman Stan Polovets, diplomats, and government representatives from Israel and around the world, along with approximately 200 guests.
The ceremony included moving speeches, the presentation of the award, and a special musical performance of You’ve Got a Friend, dedicated to President Milei. Guests enjoyed a stylish and elegant reception and a gourmet lunch by “Maasiya” catering.
Above all, the human connection created was unique and deeply powerful – a symbol of solidarity with Israel in challenging times, and an unforgettable experience for all who attended.
