This conference of the Chevra Kadisha Forum is first conference held in Israel on the subject of Jewish burial, Halacha to practice. In accordance with the unique subject matter, we have developed content that deals with different aspects of burial, such as Jewish Law, emergency burial and cemetery planning. The conference was hosted by journalist Yedidya Meir and featured discussions and panels with the participation of Halacha scholars and Rabbis, among them the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Ministers, Members of Parliament and officials from relevant government offices, organizations and Chevra Kadisha institutes. Alongside the conference an exhibition was held, displaying global burial novelties and innovations.
