This year’s convention, in partnership with the Jewish National Fund under the theme ‘Moving Cities Together’, celebrated 80 years of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel, and 70 years of Israeli independence. The morning assembly was held with the presence of Israeli Prime Minister and prominent Ministers, and was moderated by journalist and anchorwoman Keren Marciano. Late we held round-table discussions, in the style of Parliament committees, each discussion with the participation of the relevant Minister and municipal leaders and officials.

The festive lunch opened with a multimedia show that told the story of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel and the Jewish National Fund, entwined with the story of The State of Israel. Between addresses we granted the innovation and education awards, and the event closed with a comedy video with TV comedians Liat Har Lev and Eli Finish in their famous and hilarious characters. The event was directed by Shilo Gallay and Danny Casson.
