A multidisciplinary conference of Maccabi Healthcare Services in the fields of gastroenterology, surgery, and nutrition, through the lens of innovative and AI-based digital medicine, took place in December 2024 at the Rabin Center in Tel Aviv. The conference focused on the intersection of innovations and technologies in various treatment areas on the one hand, and patient-centered practice on the other.
The conference addressed the challenges and revolutions in the medical world, including the integration of digital medicine into practice and electronic health records through decision support tools, smart systems, PROMS questionnaires, personalized adjustments, and more. It also emphasized an interdisciplinary approach and the connection between healthcare providers and multidisciplinary clinics to encourage, improve, and advance the quality of work for professionals in the field, contributing to the well-being of patients.
Approximately 50 speakers participated in the conference, alongside 13 pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies that supported the event.
The conference also featured a culinary experience, along with a break and relaxation provided by comedian Elinor Sela, who, after conducting thorough research, humorously shared the professional work experience and challenges at Maccabi Healthcare Services with the attendees.
